A graduate of the English Department at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. A teacher of English and translator. A teacher in the Department of English at Krosno State College. She conducts classes on practical English, specializing in teaching writing, phonetics and phonology, with special emphasis on the specific character of teaching pronunciation in the context of Polish schools and methods of overcoming pronunciation problems. Her academic interests comprise also issues related to the culture and history of Australia and the Australian variety of English. She has been a guest teacher in Hungary (Eszterházy Károly Főiskola, Eger and Slovenia (Faculty of media, Ljubljana; Univerza na Primorskem, Koper). She has translated texts being part of international projects as well as numerous articles from the field of medicine and sport. Currently, she is working on the translation of a book on static optimisation.
