Postgraduate studies in methodology (Warsaw University) and British history and culture (Warsaw University and Peterhouse College, Oxford) Doctoral studies at Faculty of Arts in the field of British and American Studies at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Kosice, Slovakia. Interdisciplinary doctoral thesis (British / Irish film, TV documentary, history and social psychology) written under supervision of Prof. J.F. Baillon (Université Bordeaux Montaigne, France). Participant in numerous domestic and international conferences; publications in Polish and foreign periodicals; also numerous lectures at European universities. Academic interests connected with most recent culture (“post-postmodern” sensibility and identity in film and the media, also gender studies) and contemporary British and American ethnic literatures Other interests: art (painting, architecture, film, literature), politics, genealogy.
