A visit to Krosno MECHANIK

Visiting local schools is an established tradition regularly sustained by our department as a way of maintaining regular contact with the local community. The lecturers of our Department routinely meet learners of English from local schools to present educational opportunities offered by PWSZ Krosno as well as giving lectures and organizing workshops on culture or history of English-speaking countries. This time, the meeting took place in one of Krosno secondary schools, MECHANIK, and was conducted by dr Bogumił Wolski, who talked about differences between British and American variety of English. It was great pleasure to see that the pupils showed a good command of English, which is worth noting as they are taught by one of our graduates.
