One or two languages?

The theme of the lecture put on by dr Bogumił Wolski for the pupils of Rymanów High School covered differences between British and American variety of English. The lecture presented the historical background which determined the origin of the two varieties, and was illustrated with numerous examples of differences in pronunciation, spelling and vocabulary, in particular borrowings from other languages. The lecture was delivered on Dec 14, 2018 and was attended by the pupils following the extended program of English.
