English Philology students’ took part in a Foreign Language Day at “Szczepanik” School

Almost 550 junior high school students from schools in the city of Krosno and the Krosno county, accompanied by their foreign language teachers took part in it. The students enjoyed participating in a variety of attractions, for example language games and a series of language workshops conducted by teams of third year students of English Philology, teaching specialization - Ewa Dyląg, Partycja Godzisz, Patrycja Pondel, Michał Latoszek, Patryk Pasterczyk and Michał Śliż. It seems worth mentioning that after successful experiences from the previous four editions, students of the Department of English Philology were again invited to contribute to the organization of the event.

 Additionally, foreign students staying in our Department as part of the Erasmus Plus project were interviewed by the hosts about their studies in Krosno and intercultural experiences. Later, they entertained the Polish students with multimedia presentations about the culture and customs of their country.

The coordinator of the event was Ms Monika Leczek, the teacher of English from “Szczepanik” and, on the part of The Department, the coordination and methodological supervision was ensured by Dr. Agnieszka Habrat.
