Christmas Party 2017

Believe it or not, but it was the 17th Christmas Party organized by the students of our department. The festivities started with a Christmas pop concert starring LOUD band, followed by an array of quizzes and games prepared by the students of English Philology and Dual Studies in Translation. The highlight of that part was the ugliest Christmas jumper contest. All afternoon long we listened to lots of Christmas carols and songs in English and Spanish performed by either the students or the staff. Towards the end of the party we watched several amazing video clips shot by the students of our department. The Christmas afternoon finished with a traditional Polish ‘żurek’ (sour rye soup ?) and lots of sweets prepared by the students (and their moms?). See you next year! (see gallery)
