Chinese students visiting our department

During this year’s Juwenalia we hosted a group of 14 students and 2 teachers from ENTEL foreign language school in Hangzhou, China. A group of pupils with their English teacher from Jedlicze secondary school joined in as well. An interesting part of the visit was an integration meeting for our year one students and staff in the afternoon of 17th May. Several Chinese students talked about their school and their every day routine during the school year. The presentation included also a practical component: ‘eye practice’ – an exercise meant to prevent eyesight problems. The highlight of the meeting was brief presentation of an old traditional Chinese musical instrument Guzheng and a brief performance given by one of the students (photo gallery).
