New teleconferencing classes have started with a school in China!

On the 7^th of March in our library the first videoconference took place for first year students of English with Chinese students who are going to visit our college in May. It starts a series of meetings as part of speaking classes run by mgr Karolina Zajdel.

The meeting included 30 students in total, 20 from China and 10 from Poland. Right after the students had been connected, they were welcomed by the Chinese students with a smile. Soon after, a series of questions about culture and daily life of both cultures were asked not only to learn about them, but also to break the ice. The meeting ended with as good ambience as it had started, and both groups promised to expand their answers at the next meeting!
