Erasmus+ Programme

Erasmus students - 2018/19 spring semester

15-07-2019

Nowadays Im counting the days down to finish my Erasmus experience here in Krosno so I think it is best time to write about it. I spent nearly 5 months here in this city far away from my home in Istanbul. Namely, It was not my first experience in abroad, I have been to USA for couple of months so I was absolutely awared that living in an European country would be different from anywhere else that I have ever been in before. I can say that I had lots of memories here.

My trip to Krosno was long and tiring, I flew to Lviv then crossed the border with train after that I took a bus to Krosno. After this long journey, I was surely ready for the Erasmus program. After spending couple of weeks in Krosno, I realized that living in this city is completely different for me and it was not easy to get used to it, except from sunny days there are not many people on the streets and unfortunately there is not many places to hang out for students.

About the school, I was highly satisfied with my lecturers and I enjoyed all of the courses that I took. Also, PWSZ Krosno offers international activities and trips. In addition to these, being an Erasmus Student helped me to travel around the Europe I have been to 10 European countries and many cities also I learned about their culture and it was a great opportunity.

Hello, My Erasmus adventure is about to reach it final day so I need to write few things about it.

It began in Ukrain-Lviv such a beautiful old town and also my first abroad experience being in another country and culture was a new thing for me and ı loved it. Then with a train from Lviv I crossed the Poland border just in a few days changing countries is about to be my new life style that I did not know at that time. After a long way finally I was at lovely, peaceful and silent little town Krosno. The most thing I love about Krosno is it’s qıietness because it is not crowded you can not see much people in Rynek except Sunday and the weather must be sunny. About the school, classes, and teachers I had no problems I like the classes I even took two different movie class which I can not find in Istanbul University in my area Teaching English. The teachers are really helpful and good at their job I am happy about ıt. Also PWSZ gave me the opportunity to being on the stage as an actor. It has been three years I am acting in my faculty we have theatre community and before coming Krosno I dreamed about getting on the stage in Poland and that dream came true in the youth festival (Juwenalia).

Now I will tell about my aim for doing Erasmus, being a traveller. I travelled to 11 different countries and 14 diffirent cities. It was a great experience I learned a lot, I have seen many new places, taste different foods, heard various languages and met with people from different counties. This experince gave me a lot ıt helped me to develop myself. Finally writing this page in Krosno while thinking about what Erasmus contribute to me, many new things in my life, very first moments and I am sure that I will miss all the things I have been through whether they good or bad.

Best regards,
